Reusing shipping supplies isn’t just good for your wallet – it’s good for the environment, too. Reusing materials means that you don’t have to buy them. Considering boxes, tape, and filler all cost money, procuring these items for free through reuse is a great way to cut shipping costs. Consider saving boxes from items you receive in the mail. Keep tissue paper, newspapers, and other soft materials that can be used to cushion items in transit. While you can’t reuse tape, you can make your own out of flour, water, and paper.
